Every time I visit my folks in Southern Germany, I meet up with Portformat (Ibrahim M’Bodji), a music producer with Senegalese and German roots, whom I have known for almost four years, for drinks and serious conversations about life, the world and of course music. I remember very well when he told me that he was going to have a feature with Dudley Perkins and Georgia Anne Muldrow on his debut album titled The Repeat Factor.
