The final for the Africa Cup of Nations 2017 is set to take place with a match between Egypt and Cameroon.
“The Africa Cup of Nations—AFCON—is Africa’s biggest football competition. First held in 1957 in Sudan, since 1968, it has been held every two years. The 31st edition of African Cup of Nations which is starting January 14, 2017 was scheduled to be hosted by Libya, will instead be hosted by Gabon due to ongoing war in Libya,” writes OkayAfrica contributor Placide Magambo.
