About Michael Kiwanuka

We’re not sure if it’s the smoky humility to Michael Kiwanuka’s voice or the lessons-we-wish-we-could-learn-already that fill his lyrics, but there is something irresistibly human to his music. The British/Ugandan soul crooner (who won BBC Sound of 2012) constructs seamless acoustic compositions influenced by old-school greats like Bill Withers and Otis Redding. He released his debut LP Home Again late in 2012.
