South Africa’s Urban Street Culture Festival STR.CRD Returns To Johannesburg In November

STR.CRD is set to return to Johannesburg’s Constitution Hill in November for its fifth round of “Fashion, Music, Sneakers, Graffiti, Skate, Dance, Photography, [and] Culture” bliss in one spot. Since launching in Cape Town in 2010, STR.CRD has grown to earn the undoubtable title of the number one urban street culture event on the continent. Last year we were on hand for the second time in a row to document the festival on the ground alongside some of our favorite South African tastemakers and international industry heavyweights alike, including 2Bop, Art Comes First, Street Etiquette, Petite Noir, Papa Ghana, and JakobSnake. Watch Okayafrica TV’s video recap below plus a teaser for the 2014 edition, which hits Constitution Hill 7-9 November. Follow STR.CRD on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram for more info.
