Issa Rae drops the first official trailer for the upcoming season of 'Insecure.'

On Sunday, Issa Rae gave us a taste of what to expect from the upcoming third season of Insecure, hint: more awkwardness, hilarity and, of course, mirror raps.

In the 35 second trailer, we see Issa spitting some self-assured rhymes in the mirror and hogging up the bathroom, before Daniel knocks on the door, interrupting her flow.

It looks like this season will pick up right where season 2 ended, with Issa shacking up with Daniel.

The hit HBO show returns on August 12 and we're hella excited.

Get excited, y'all! Insecure, the hit series from our girl, Issa Rae is returning for its third season, and its premiere date has just been announced.

The show runner took to Twitter today to let anxious fans know that the show will finally be returning to our TV screens on August 12. She shared a playful video announcement with cameos from some of our favorite characters including Molly (Yvonne Orji), Tiffany (Amanda Seales) and the always charming Kelli (Natasha Rothwell).

'Black Panther' Is the Most Nominated Film at This Year's MTV Movie Awards

This year's show will be hosted by none other than Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish. See the full list of nominees.

The MTV Movie Awards are just around the corner, and leading the pack of 2018 nominations is none other than the biggest movie of the year Black Panther.

The groundbreaking Marvel film has earned seven nominations in the categories including Best Movie and Best on Screen Team. Leading man, Chadwick Boseman is nominated for Best Hero, Best Performance in a Movie, and Best Fight Scene along with Winston Duke who plays the unforgettable Jabari tribe leader M'Baku; while Michael B. Jordan earned a nod for Best Villian for his role as Erik Killmonger. Letitia Wright, who plays Black Panther's tech genius sister, Shuri, is nominated in the Scene Stealer category.

Other notable nominees include Issa Rae, who is nominated for Best Performance in a Show for Insecure. Tiffany Haddish who is also hosting this year's show, is nominated for Scene Stealer and Best Comedic Performance for her role in Girls Trip. Dania Gurira also earned a separate nomination for Best Fight for her role in Avengers: Infinity War.

Last year, Black Panther actor Daniel Kaluuya took home the Breakout Star award. We're hoping that his cast-mates have the same luck this year—they deserve it!

The MTV Movie Awards take place on June 18 in Los Angles, and it's sure to be a lively show with Haddish as the host.
