Our favorite Northern Malian blues making desert nomads, Tinariwen, premiere their latest video for "Imidawan Ma Tenam" today.  Fresh off a great collabo with our Brooklyn neighbors Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone (from TV on The Radio), Tinariwen hit with this  hauntingly beautiful song + video shot in Northern Mali, which also features guitar from Nels Cline of Wilco (recorded seperately in Chicago).  Vid is produced and directed by Patrick Votan.  Watch the video for the interesting details and circumstances of the recording process of their upcoming album, Tassili (Anti, August 30), which took them far from their homeland.  The album also features the horn section from The Dirty Dozen Brass Band - we're counting the days till the drop date! He raps about his rise into stardom, asking himself how his life changed so fast. "Legendary, I'm just being legendary me/ When I'm feeling humble, smoke some ordinary weed," he sings on the hook.
