Davido 'FEM'

Davido returns with "FEM," the first song off his highly anticipated next album, A Better Time, expected to come out in October. The uplifting, yet threatening, song comes after a months long social media hiatus from the Nigerian superstar, during which he's been rumored to be working on his upcoming album. "FEM" is Davido's first official single of the year and seems to address those people that talk too much. "To the people talking about you because they don't understand your shine, they don't understand your grace," Davido wrote on Instagram, "they don't understand why they can never be what you are or have what you have... we say #FEM... Heard y'all missed me."

Yemi Alade 'True Love'

Yemi Alade's new video for "True Love" is all shades of inventiveness, captivating cinematography, dazzling costumes, energetic choreography and a complementary mix of African cultures, from Lagos streetlife to Ghanaian kente dresses. This music video, directed by Nigerian music video director Paul Gambit, sees Yemi Alade, one of Nigeria's most vibrant performers, direct her stage performance energy into a delightful visual experience.

Olamide 'Eru'

Nigerian heavyweight act Olamide returns with the new single "Eru," which will feature on this upcoming new album. The energetic and addictive new track was made. by 18-year-old Nigerian producer P-Priime and comes paired with a new msuic video directed by Clarence Peters. "Eru is something priceless, that money can't buy,"Olamide mentions of the song's Yoruba title, "like a rare gem, or ajewel. If I call myself Omo Eru, that means no one can buy meโ€”I am priceless."

Mr Eazi & Major Lazer feat. Nicki Minaj & K4mo 'Oh My Gawd'

Nigerian singer-songwriter Mr Eazi has teamed up with production trio Major Lazer for their collective new single "Oh My Gawd." The single only gets stronger with features, with Nicki Minaj and fellow Nigerian artist K4mo also lending their voices. Taking lyrical inspiration from Black Uhuru and Baby Charm and their legendary contributions to reggae and dancehall classic hits, "Oh My Gawd" acts as Mr Eazi's first single off of his highly anticipated EP Something Else. The song features production from Fred Again, Diplo and co-production courtesy of Alex Gibson, Toddla T and Siba.

Wizkid dropped his latest single titled "No Stress." And just as the name suggests, the track is a smooth and mellow number that is sure to have you kicking your feet up with ease. The also track comes ahead of the Nigerian superstar's long-awaited album Made In Lagos. Trust us when we say this sneak preview of the project is fire.

Wande Coal 'Realms' EP

Nigerian afropop phenomenon Wande Coal has come out with a new EP, five years after release his last big body of work, Wanted. The new EP, titled Realms, comes through producer Screwface's Starstruck Management, as well as indie heavyweight EMPIRE. Wande Coal, intimately know to fans as "Black Diamond" or "King Coal," assembled a flawless set perfectly showing off the range he has acquired as a vocalist and songwriter over the years.

Wizkid 'Smile' ft. H.E.R.

Lastly, another on from Starboy as he shared the new music video for "Smile." The Nigerian star dedicated this new Meji Alabi-directed music video to his three sons: Bolu, Ayo and Zion Balogun. The song features Grammy award winning US singer/songwriter H.E.R. The track coos sounds of unconditional love and the things we do for it. It features Wizkid and H.E.R. going in over an infectious beat.

South African Health Minister Tests Positive for COVID-19

South African Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize and has wife, Dr May Mkhize, have both tested positive for COVID-19. Dr Mkhize has encouraged South Africans to continue social distancing whilst undergoing self-isolation.

According to TimesLIVE South African Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize has publicly stated that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Mkhize shared the news via social media this past Sunday. The news has been disappointing for many South Africans as Mkhize has been actively and competently guiding the country through the national lockdown through his medical expertise. Messages of support have poured in on Twitter after the release of the Minister's statement.
