Listen to Swae Lee & Drake's New Single 'Won't Be Late,' Produced by Tekno

As well as production, Tekno also gets a writing credit on the new song.

Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee drops two new singles today, "Won't Be Late" featuring Drake and "Sextasy."

"Won't Be Late" is notably produced by Nigeria's own Tekno. The new single is built on a mid tempo, afro-fusion-inspired beat, filled with claps, and light keyboard chords.

As well as production, Tekno also gets a writing credit on the new song. You can hear his input when Drake sings lines like, 'Ikebe, pressing on me heavy' and 'Bakasi, moving on me wassy.'

If you remember, Drake shouted out Tekno last year as one of his many inspirations behind Scorpion and posted a picture of them working on something together.

"Won't Be Late" is paired with Swae Lee's "Sextasy" which was produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and Chopsquad DJ.

Tekno's had a lively past few months. He was recently featured in Beyoncé's The Lion King: The Gift album and dropped his "Agege" collaboration with Zlatan. He was also accused of being a "threat to security" by Nigeria's Council for Arts & Culture for that single's pole dancing video.

Listen to "Won't Be Late" below.

Apparently Drake Is Niniola's New Big Fan

The Canadian rapper played "Maradona" while co-hosting on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Drake is no stranger to Nigerian music, as we've seen from his many collaborations with Wizkid on "One Dance" and "Come Closer," and the "Ojuelegba" remix. He even brought Wizkid out at his recent London O2 Arena show.

It seems the Canadian rapper has now placed his attention on the sounds Niniola, Nigeria's queen of afro-house.

Drake initially followed Niniola on Instagram a week ago, which had the Nigerian star writing on her social media, "Imagine waking up in the morning to find out Drake just followed u... Hmmmm dis Isolo girl Sha!!!"

After finishing up his impressive seven show run at London's O2 Arena, the Canadian star stopped by co-host on BBC Radio 1Xtra with Tiffany Calver. During that show Drake made a request for Niniola's "Maradona" to be played.

They performed "Come Closer" and "Soco."

Drake is currently in the middle of his Assassination Vacation tour across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Since the beginning of the month, he's been taking on an impressive seven show run at London's O2 Arena, which was turned into the O3 for this residency. He's already brought out notable guests like the newly-freed J Hus for some of his shows.

For his concert on Monday, April 8, Drake brought out none-other-than Wizkid.

The Nigerian star, who himself had just wrapped-up a Canadian tour across Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Edmonton, came out to a warm reception from the 20,000 capacity crowd.

Wizkid performed his Sounds From The Otherside single "Come Closer" alongside Drake and went on to also play his more recent huge hit, "Soco." He came on right after Drake played "One Dance," which Wizkid was also featured on and helped write.
