Major League DJz New Single With Riky Rick & Patoranking Has Too Much Sauce

South African deejay duo Major League DJz are unpredictable.

They release the most unconventional music this side of the Equator—think “Slyza Tsotsi,” “Zulu Girls” and “The Bizness”—and have just released another single that refuses to be boxed in one genre.

“Do Better” has just too much sauce in one song. If it’s not South African singer KLY’s effortless R&B vocals, then Nigerian singer Patoranking’s emotive ragga/dancehall verse will win you over. How about Riky Rick’s sing-songy rendition?

“Do Better” is a laidback, feel-good song that sees a diverse array of artists synergize their skills over a minimalistic string-heavy beat. It’s a beautiful love song with lines like, “If he breaks your heart, baby, I’ll fix you” (KLY), “I just wanna put a smile on your face, I wanna put that pretty body on me” (Riky Rick).

It’s a well-crafted track that can be for both the club or to slow-dance to—depending on your mood.
