Mo Kolours 'Mike Black' + Debut LP Trailer

Anglo-Mauritian pop experimentalist Mo Kolours, a longtime site favorite, has always been conscious of his Indian Ocean background, injecting sega-inspired rhythms into his numerous productions. In "Mike Black," the lead-single off Mo Kolours' upcoming self-titled debut LP, the artist takes a step away from his previous left-of-field beats towards a gloomier, UK-crooner sound. The result is an inventive, somber composition backed by Mauritian percussion. Mo Kolours is up for pre-order now and will be out March 24 via One Handed Music. Stream "Mike Black"  and watch the album's video trailer below.

A still of Tamy Moyo in the visualizer for her latest single. She is in a garden of roses, gazing straight at the camera while wearing an orange dress.
