Ataui Deng x French Marie-Claire

Sudanese African model Ataui Deng is glowing in the French Marie Claire's January issue, photographed by Jacob Sadrak and styled by Mako Yamazaki.

We couldn't possibly miss the opportunity to shine a spotlight on one of our favorite African models Ataui Deng (though it's never not a good time to reverse the lack of models of color trend in the industry). This month's issue of French Marie Claire features Sudan's Ataui Deng completely owning the camera with her smile and charisma in the Funky Star editorial. Photographed by Jacob Sadrak and styled by Mako Yamazaki, Deng is dressed in dazzling pieces including top brands like Heidi Slimane, Gucci and Chanel. Radiant and beautiful, Deng emphasizes the garments and graces the January issue. Scroll through our gallery to view the editorial in its entirety.
