African musician Tendai Maraire crafts a modern love song featuring auto-tuned vocals over Mbira playing.


Tendai "Baba" Maraire — whom you might know as one-half of Shabazz Palaces or from his upcoming collaboration with King Britt — recently released "Is She?," a modern love ballad that couples Maraire's mbira playing with auto-tuned verses.  Watch the Harare-shot video for the single below, which you can find on his album Wona Baba Maraire.

The statement coincides with the ongoing investigations surrounding Anele Tembe's death, and a widely circulated video showing AKA allegedly attempting to break down a door to enter his fiancé's room.
