Angola/Portugal's semba-kudurista producer Batida follows up his excellent LP with the thumping bass single "Ngongo J'ami." The celebratory track samples croons and guitar lines from 1970s Angolan music legend Carlos Lamartine. On the flip-side of the release is London group A.J. Holmes & The Hackney Empire's previously featured remix of Batida's foot-shaker "Yumbala." Grab this release on 7" and digital from Soundway Records.
