Okayafrica's Top Ten Nigerian Songs Of 2013

We run down Okayafrica's Top Ten Nigerian Songs of 2013 from Temi Dollface to Bez.

Temi Dollface "Pata Pata"

A new entrant to the Nigerian music scene, Temi Dollface is both a breath of fresh air and a lifetime of oxygen. Her sound can’t be sufficiently boxed into any labels, and, she and a handful of others like her are bursts of vibrant color in a largely monochrome industry. "Pata Pata" and its accompanying video are a preview of what Temi is doing for music at large– taking a dreary subject matter and giving it a spirited makeover filled with sass, pep and a good dose of humor. For more on our love for Temi, check out these reasons the "Pata Pata" video is brilliant.
