French-based, Malian-rooted rapper Mokobé and Nigerian superstars P-Square team up for the party track "Getting Down," a single that grows from a highly-percussive beat into a straight-up EDM progression. The music video follows Mokobé and the Nigerian twins as they rap, dance and sip drinks day and night by the pool. The P-Square brothers Peter and Paul Okoye have been going heavy on the collaborations this year having previously dropped an office video single with Don Jazzy, a dance battle clip with Congolese soukous star Awilo Longomba and the recent "Bring It On" alongside Dave Scott. Security forces in the country have been accused of threatening, assaulting and arresting queer individuals.
