Watch Mirel Wagner's 'Oak Tree' Video

It's been about a year since we last heard from Finnish-based, Ethiopian-born singer Mirel Wagner, who initially carved her mark on our site with the gloomy, bare-boned folk tune "No Death" and its standout music video. "Oak Tree," the lead single off her upcoming sophomore album When The Cellar Children See The Light Of Day, follows in that same vein as Wagner sings from the perspective of a corpse buried in the woods. Watch the video for "Oak Tree," directed by the artist and Aki Roukala, below. When The Cellar Children See The Light Of Day will be available August 11/12 in Europe/US from Sub Pop and August 8 in Finland from Kioski.
