Nairobi quartet Sauti Sol were one of the diaspora acts buzzing at Austin's SXSW festival last week. The group — generally comprised of three vocalists and a guitarist — blend pop sensibilities with Kenyan sounds from the likes of Fadhili Williams and Daudi Kabaka, as well as other established African artists such as Salif Keita and Lokua Kanza. They've got an upcoming EP produced/recorded with the recently Okayafrica TV featured Spoek Mathambo. Watch their videos for "Soma Kijana" and "Coming Home" off last year's Sol Filosofia LP, which you can grab here.
