Ever since we got wind of Africa’s number 1 urban youth culture festival STR.CRD in 2011, we have been hooked; OKA will be gracing the event for the second time this year. STR.CRD has seen a significant growth over the past few years since its first installation in Cape Town back in 2010. This year the festival will be held on Johannesburg’s historic Constitution Hill on 26th- 29th of September. The event attracts urban culture enthusiasts, industry players as well as brands giving it a global appeal.

Thursday 26 September STR.CRD kicks off with M.O.S 2013 (Manual of Style), a curated fashion event showcasing all featured brands. Friday 27 September is booth opening evening, which will also serve as a trade evening where fashion buyers meet with brands to facilitate potential sales. Saturday 28 September is a cross pollination of ideas as various panel discussions take place featuring local and international speakers. Simultaneously on Saturday booths will be open to the public. Later on in the evening a music festival with an impressive artist line up including Benji B from the UK and Vic Crezee from Amsterdam will take place.
