Prediction: Nigerian megastar D’Banj’s monster new single “Emergency” will have dancefloors across the globe turning up in 2016.

The track, which many are calling his best since “Oliver Twist,” stays true to the singer’s trademark sound, with breathy lyrics and a sing-along-worthy hook complete with animated ad libs. D’banj flows over a groovy guitar loop and booming percussion, resounding hi-hats and, of course, a harmonica bridge.

D’banj released a handful of top-tier collaborations last year with Akon, Idris Elbaand Ice Prince, as well as loose singles from his upcoming Visual EP.
