Edward Enninful's First British Vogue September Issue Features the Illustrious Rihanna

The fashion magazine teases what we're to expect from the Ghanaian-British editor-in-chief this month and we're already here for it.

It hasn't even been a full year since Edward Enninful has taken the role of editor-in-chief at British Vogue—and he's done nothing short of shaking tables and breaking barriers.

"Be sure of this: my Vogue will be the fashion bible," he said in his editor's letter for his first cover, which featured fellow Ghanaian-British model Adwoa Aboah (in a headwrap!), for the December 2017 issue.

And from the looks of his first September Issue, this book we're anticipating will be the magazine's new testament. Take a look at the teaser, where Enninful sits with Rihanna, his star cover girl, below.

In this clip we also get a glimpse of Rihanna slaying in an haute couture photo shoot and even Sudanese-Australian model Adut Akech Bior in the midst of an ethereal editorial.

As Enninful states in his editor's letter for this issue, we're to expect the Bajan star to talk "diva-dom and diversity."

"As for the cover? I always knew it had to be Rihanna. A fearless music-industry icon and businesswoman, when it comes to that potent mix of fashion and celebrity, nobody does it quite like her," he continues. "No matter how haute the styling goes, or experimental the mood, you never lose her in the imagery. She is always Rihanna. There's a lesson for us all in that. Whichever way you choose to dress the new season, take a leaf out of her book and be yourself."
