This Striking Photo Story Explores the African Man Finding Inner Peace

Nigerian photographer Kene Esomeju takes advantage of nature's color-rich landscapes in this breathtaking photo story.

Paz is a photo story by Nigerian photographer Kene Esomeju that's simple, yet thought-provoking.

Based in Canada, Esomeju is also a graphic designer whose work centers around color.

Esomeju collaborated with the Baroque Age and Ugonna Ikechi, also known as Gunna, a visual artist who modeled and creative directed the shoot.

Rich hues of blue, along with glimpses of Canadian landmarks and landscapes tie the photo story together, which he explains further below.

"In Spanish, paz means 'peace,'" Esomeju says. "Paz was inspired to portray a peace of mind in the African man. Using cool colors juxtaposed with the landscape, I was able to create a story in which someone is searching for peace and eventually finds it."
