British singer & songwriter Lánre spent her youth in Nigeria, where she honed her skills singing, playing guitar and writing songs influenced by her Yoruba heritage.

Lánre recently released her new EP, Human, a four-track collection of acoustic folk and soul compositions. The EP’s title track shows her knack for shaping layers of vocal harmonies into an alluring and uplifting song. It’s got us thinking of Laura Mvula.
