If you're like us and can't seem to get enough of Chewing Gum showrunner, Michaela Coel, then you'll be just as excited to know that the British-Ghanian actress will star in an upcoming full-length feature based on a popular stage musical that premiered at London's Young Vic theater back in 2009.

Been So Long, is a modern love story that follows Simone (Coel), a single mother who falls for a stranger during a night out in London's, vibrant Camden neighborhood. "Set against the backdrop of an ever-changing city, Been So Long is a fresh take on love, life and moving on," reports Shadow and Act.

We'll get a chance to see Coel's musical chops, as the cast features a slew of talented dancers and singers including Arinzé Kene,George Mackay,Ronke Adekoluejo and more. The film's soundtrack is said to feature an eclectic mix of originally produced R&B, UK dance, and neo-soul songs.

She's already captured our hearts as Tracey on Chewing Gum, and she'll likely do so again when we see her on the big screen!
