Up-and-coming Cape Town singer Melrhone Paul John (aka MPJ) just released stunning visuals to his single “Comets.”

The song’s video was shot on location in Cape Town, by director Motion Billy. The stunning visual, which shows MPJ and a loved one in a desert under ominous clouds, complements the impressive songwriting to tell a story of finding love before the world ends.

“Comets” is a promising pop and EDM single that wouldn’t feel out of place on a 5FM playlist. MPJ’s falsetto singing finds a fitting precinct over sinewy synths and a healthy electronic bass line. Mad potential here.
