Audio/Video: Lamin Fofana 'Dubious Prey' + 'Unknown Journey II'

[embed width="600"][/embed]

Dutty Artz crew and previous AIYE selector Lamin Fofana hits us up with two gems. The first is "Unknown Journey II" (below) — a tune that couples the voice of Malian singer Aminata Diabate with rumbling synthesizers from Detroit techno producer Drexciya. The second piece is a serenely glitchy clip for the title-track from Lamin's Dubious Prey EP. The video (above), directed  by Jon Conklin & Mike Barnett, interposes silhouetted birds over New York City stills (shout out: Williamsburg J train). Check them both out.

The official soundtrack for Queen & Slim has arrived, and it features a standout solo track from none other than Burna Boy.

"My Money, My Baby" is a heavily Afrobeat-tinged track that features a prominent sample of Fela Kuti's 1972 song "Shakara." The pulsating track also sees the singer, channeling Fela's signature talk-style of singing and repetition. Check it out below.
