What’s Up Africa: Jesus Was Nigerian
In the latest What's Up Africa, African comedy host Ikenna Azuike responds to FOX News reporter Megyn Kelly with the good news– Jesus was Nigerian.
<p>It's been a minute since we've spread the love for weekly African comedy satire series <strong><a href="http://www.okayafrica.com/2013/05/16/whats-up-africa-british-government-hiding-secrets/" target="_blank">What’s Up Africa</a></strong>. In the latest edition host <strong>Ikenna Azuike</strong> delivers the good word to the FOX 'News' fold– that Jesus was a Naija man. The satirical history lesson comes in the aftermath of <strong>Megyn Kelly</strong>'s <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XYlJqf4dLI" target="_blank">blatantly not okay remarks</a> on <strong>Aisha Harris</strong>'s thought piece for <strong>Slate,</strong> <em><a href="http://www.slate.com/articles/life/holidays/2013/12/santa_claus_an_old_white_man_not_anymore_meet_santa_the_penguin_a_new_christmas.html" target="_blank">Santa Claus Should Not Be a White Man Anymore</a>,</em> and of course her post-backlash <a href="http://nation.foxnews.com/2013/12/16/megyn-kelly-addresses-white-santa-comments" target="_blank">clarification</a>. We need not point out how backwards any line of thinking is that stems from "Just because it makes you feel uncomfortable doesn't mean it has to change." Though we do wonder how uncomfortable Ikenna referring to "the fictional character" Jesus will make some folks.
