Budding Ghanaian afrobeats and dancehall singer, Ebony Reigns passed away this morning in a car crash. She was 20.

According to Bella Naija, The singer, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was in the car with her best friend and Youtube personality Franky Kuri as well as two military escorts, heading to Accra, when they collided head on with a VIP bus on Sunyani-Kumasi road. All four riders lost their lives in the accident.

The signer, best known for her songs "Poison" and "Mama Hw3" was just one week shy over her 21st birthday. She dropped her debut album Bonyfied last December.

Fellow artists, fans and supporters have been sharing their condolences on social media.

It's heartbreaking to see a young talent gone so soon. May her soul rest in peace.
