Cape Town's Arcade Streetwear Label 2Bop Commemorates 10th Anniversary With Litephase 2 Collection

Cape Town-based video game-nodding streetwear label 2Bop commemorates its 10th year anniversary with the summery Litephase 2 collection.

It's been ten years since Cape Town-based designers Anthony Smith and Bradley Abrahams founded South African video game-nodding streetwear brand 2Bop Apparel. To celebrate, the label is rolling out Lightphase 02, a nostalgic collection of remixed and reissued 2Bop summertime favorites. The line, which features collaborations with The Happy Show DJ Xander Ferreira (aka Gazelle) and Cape Town illustrator Daniel Ting Chong, sees the return of 2Bop's polaroid video game arcade prints, a monochromatic "Juicy" reissue, and the introduction of the “Donkey Kong Freudian Dream” tee. Litephase 02launches with a Street Fighter session and a boerie and braai this Thursday, 11 December from 6-10pm, at Smith & Abrahams in Cape Town. Until then, preview the Litephase 02 lookbook and the jumpy b-boy teaser video, both shot by Abrahams. Follow 2Bop on facebook, twitter and instagram for more info.
