AKA is Taking His Orchestra Show to Durban

AKA will be performing in Durban with The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra.

It seems AKA's Orchestra on The Square, which took place in Pretoria in March this year, was the first in a series of shows.

Supa Mega is taking the show to Durban on the 2nd November at the ICC Arena in Durban. The artist will be assisted by The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra, which is widely regarded as one of Africa's premier orchestras. A number of surprise guests will join Supa Mega on the night.

"This is my favorite city in the world to perform in, I love the energy of the people, they show love and it's so easy to reciprocate. This show on the 2nd of November is one for the books. I am inviting fans from all over the country to come enjoy with us and enjoy the warm hearts of the Durbanites as we take you on a musical experience."

For the concert, AKA is teaming up with DJ Tira's Afrotainment and urban events promoter Vertex Events.

DJ Tira, in a press release said:

"I always enjoy bringing major events to my city Durban. It helps the city to continue be number 1 tourist destination in the country. The AKA Orchestra event is one of the best concepts in the event space currently."

This show is a follow-up to AKA's Orchestra on The Square, which took place in March 2019 which took place at the Sun Arena Times Square, Menlyn, in which the performed with a 30-piece orchestra.

Tickets will be available at Computicket from today. Early bird tickets are R200.00 until 30 September 2019. The show will take place on the 2nd of November.
