Fresh off the presses we've got a new single "Yumbala" from Batida.  Hailing from Lisbon, Batida is DJ Mpula's alter-ego (a multitalented producer-performer-video maker-radio DJ), crafting some of the most inspired African urban street music around.  Mixing samples of sweet 60's guitar melodies from Angolan semba music with bass heavy, highspeed kuduro beats, "Yumbala" is a dance floor ready special.  The track features vocals from Angolan MCs Sacerdote and Dama Ivone from Luanda's Circuito Feixado.  Check it out below - thanks to our friends at ghettobassquake (who also made that groovy gif image above)!
