Here is another BBE exclusive. Coming straight out of Ghana, "Dey Suffer" was recorded and produced by Richy Pitch, with vocals from Yasmeen, daughter of the legendary West African producer Faisal Helwani (Hedzolleh & Bunzu Sounds). The song "Dey Suffer" describes the emigration out of Africa which has created a ‘brain drain,’ with qualified people leaving for wealthier pastures. As Yasmeen explains: "Africans love their motherland, but she's suffering so we all leave to find better fortune elsewhere." DJ Vadim's remix of "Dey Suffer" is 8 minutes of great electro/afrobeat, that takes nothing away from the original beauty of the song, just adds an upbeat tempo.
