ZIMBABWE—Blessing Fire was born with a condition that causes him to walk with a limp, as a child he was told by doctors that he would have to use a wheelchair, but now he’s head of an award-winning Zimbabwean dancing crew.

Blessing fell in love with breakdancing while watching his older brother—a professional gymnast—practice his tumbles and tricks. When he shared his passion with his family his parents worried that he would further damage his legs.

But Blessing persisted.

“It was the only thing that gave me a lot of joy and peace inside of me”, he says in a video with BBC.
