South African house DJ, producer, businessman and media personality DJ Sbu has a new single. The song, which is titled "Beautiful," features world-famous Hawaii-born vocalist Portia Monique.

In the song, Sbu hands the singer a mid-tempo Afrobeat instrumental, which she owns with her layered vocals. She croons comfortably about a person whose beauty she needs an insight into.

DJ Sbu's releases have always been unpredictable since he released his first album Y-Lens Vol. 1 in 2006. But his music has always been deeply rooted in deep house. So, hearing him exploring Afrobeat is refreshing, and is proof that the Nigerian genre is loved all over the continent and the world.
