An agency focused on fashion, Adirée showcases luxury and mass African-owned fashion brands through runway shows and exhibitions. They represent various countries in Africa and are also the founders of Africa Fashion Week New York (AFWNY). In anticipation of AFWNY 2013 (July 15 -20), Adirée has been releasing individual designer videos from 2012's showcase of Africa Fashion Week in New York every month since March. This month, you can see and discover Angolan Geraldo Fashions, Nigerian Joan Ibuzo (of House Of Marie) and Tanzanian Peter Walden. It's a delicate way to present a designer's work a second time and allow people who couldn't attend the show to discover the collections. If we had to give one word to describe each collection, Geraldo Fashion would be 'fluidity,' Joan Ibuzo 'feminity' and Peter Walden deserves two words — 'original' and 'classy.'
