This Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town (MBFWCT) S/S 14 edition was truly stunning and featured a gathering of incredibly talented international designers. We thought of doing a "Top 10" post but it was too hard to choose through the 28 designers presented on these four days of fashion. On Day 1, Ernest Mahomane and MilQ and Honey opened the Cape Town fashion week outstandingly —it was white and red vs. black-and-gold prints and colors.

Both collections were ultra-feminine and brought about a specific universe with unique signatures. With Ernest Mahomane, we liked the combination of white and red with great structures and shapes surrounded by tulles and extra-pieces making the whole piece a perfect outfit for the spring. As for the MilQ and Honey label, designed by sisters Gabriella and Kelly Davids, if we kept our description to four words it'd be: edgy, sexy, bold and feminine. It's a collection clearly designed for THE woman — the one who is self-confident, comfortable with her body and loves to stand out with an easy-to-wear, astonishing outfit.
