NYC friends and fam, head to Silvana in Harlem this Friday for a night of Ethiopian funk courtesy of DC's Feedel Band. Inspired by Ethiopian legends the likes of Ibex and Roha Band, the ethio-jazz group have been making waves around DC with their vintage Ethiopique sound. Look out for the group's Addis-born saxophonist Moges Habte on Ethiopiques 13 playing cult classic "Muziqawi Silt" alongside the iconic Walias Band. Feedel Band are currently working on a full-length release with Gogol Bordello's Thomas Goben (to be released via Electric Cowbell).
