The king of afrobeat has a new digital home at the relaunched Fela Kuti website. The new official site boasts a number of in-depth features including articles about the influence of Fela on other musical legends, a short biography by Carlos Moore (author of Fela: This Bitch Of A Life), an obituary written by Fela's longtime manager Rikki Stein, a complete discography, exclusive videos and photos, an events page for afrobeat-related events, a new Brian Eno playlist of his 5 favorite Fela Kuti songs and a new online shop.

"This website is a homage to Fela, telling his story through the eyes of those who knew and loved him, from near or far," a statement reads. "Anecdotes, blogs, features, photographs, videos, memorabilia and his music; powerful, ever-present, effervescent. Timeless symphonic funky epitaphs to his genius and his humanity. At his funeral one million people chanted 'Fela will live forever!' How right they were!"
