Seattle-based Ethiopian-American rapper Gabriel Teodros and New Zealand producer SoulChef share the music video for "Greeny Jungle," a marimba-sampling highlight off their joint Evidence Of Things Not Seen LP from last year. The powerful visuals for the single, directed by Scott Macklin & Eric Miller, feature Teodros and fellow Seattle MC Shakiahmarching and performing alongside Seattle's January Black Lives Matter protests in reaction to the deaths of Eric GarnerMichael Brown, Trayvon Martin and countless others.

In an e-mail with Okayafrica, Teodros explains, "'Greeny Jungle' takes its title and some inspiration from an alternative universe in the speculative fiction works of Naijamerican novelist alien sorceress Nnedi Okorafor. The video captures a moment with the #BlackLivesMatter movement in Seattle where an estimated 10,000 people marched from Garfield High School in Seattle's Central District to Downtown Seattle for #ReclaimMLK Day."
