Watch Little Simz's Effortlessly Cool "Tiny Desk Concert" Performance

British-Nigerian MC, Little Simz, performs songs from her sophomore album "Stillness in Wonderland," during a live-set with NPR.

British-Nigerian rapper Simbi Ajikawo, better known as Little Simz, stopped by NPR recently for a 3-song set, as part of their Tiny Desk Concert Series.

Backed by Brooklyn-based R&B band Phony Ppl, the MC breezily ran through songs from her sophomore album Stillness In Wonderland, including "Poison Ivy," "No More Wonderland" and "Picture Perfect."

Stillness in Wonderland is an introspective reflection on the artist's childhood that follows her 2015 debut A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons— an album that caught the attention and applause of hip-hop heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, and led to comparisons to the likes of Lauryn Hill—who she's also set to hit the road with in just a couple of days.

Watch her effortlessly cool performance below and stream Stillness in Wonderland underneath.
