Meet the Models With Autism Who Are Slaying Catwalks In Ghana

They came to slay.

A new video fromBBC Africa follows a group of teenage girls who are breaking barriers as models with autism in Ghana.

The short clip highlights some of the challenges they faced in school, and their journey to becoming models. Encouraged to take up modeling by their mothers, the girls have gained a large following, winning awards and even becoming brand ambassadors for a Ghanian water company.

These girls are casting down prejudice against people with autism one runway at a time.
