Cameroonian singer & songwriter Renissshares her latest single "Pilon," an energetic dance track produced by New Bell Music label ringleader Jovi under his alias Le Monstre.

The track—built on a blend of rapid keys, guitars and frenetic drum work—showcases a fusion of several Cameroonian genres as Reniss continues the ardent French delivery we heard in her previous single "La Sauce."

"Pilon" is a song that "celebrates women's independence," the singer mentions. " Its lyrics play on the title, "which means 'pestle' in English, referring to the mortar and pestle, a staple in cooking in Cameroon and throughout Africa."
