Ramatu Go Box is a stunning and informative short documentary that introduces us to Ramatu—a female boxer on Ghana's national boxing team who want to bring a medal home.

In the film, you'll hear Ramatu's raspy, determined voice walking us through who she is, where she's from, where she's determined to go with boxing—and the increase of interested women who've joined along the way. Her story is layered over hazy shots of Jamestown, the renowned boxing city that produces Ghana's best boxers like Azumah Nelson, as well as Ramatu putting in work in the gym with her fellow athletes.

"Boxing shaped me, it shaped my life," she says in the film. "If you touch me, you no go free."

Ramatu Go Box is directed by Adu Lalouschek and Alex Wondergem.
