South African actress Shoka Mokgapa died Tuesday night, TimesLivereports.

She was 34 years old—and the cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

Mokgapa was known for her roles in the TV shows Intersexions, Ashes to Ashes, The Docket, The Lab and more. She earned her degree in live performance from Johannesburg-based AFDA: South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance.

Channel 24 spoke with Mokgapa's manager, Wesley Mark of APM, who confirmed the news of her death. He notes that there is no formal statement available at this time.

Mokgapa has recently made appearances on BBC series Silent Witness and Amazon Prime's The Looming Tower.

She snagged a SAFTA award, winning Best Actress in a Feature Film, as well as winning Best Actress at the kykNET Silweskerm Film Festival, in 2017 for her role in Afrikaans film Sink.
