In an interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning, this morning, Uber’s first-ever chief brand officer Bozoma Saint John talks about the challenges of her new job, growing up Ghanaian in Colorado and why representation matters in business.

Leaving an executive position at Apple, Saint John joins Uber at a time when public opinion of the informal taxi app has never been lower amid accusations to a sexist work culture and exploitative labor practices. This, she hopes, can be overcome by building better relationships with its riders and drivers.
"I want it to be great for people of color and women," she says.
