This New Surfboard Company Wants More Women to Hang 10 on Senegal's Famous Shores

MCXNboards enlists one of Senegal's few female surfers, Khadijou Sambe, to show that surfing can be inclusive with locally made custom boards.

“Surfers in Senegal are one big extended family,” Khadijou Sambe, one of Senegal’s first and only female surfers, says. In the conservative, predominantly Muslim country, Sambe is an anomaly in a sport on Dakar’s beaches.
