Talib Kweli & Cassper Nyovest Share 'Fuck The Money' Video

Talib Kweli and South African rapper Cassper Nyovest release the visuals for their collaborative, anti-commercialism track "Fuck the Money."

Late last year, when Talib Kweli made his way down to South Africa, we linked him up with Cassper Nyovest; the two shared an eventful day together exploring Johannesburg and visiting the studio, where Talib jumped on the remix of Cassper's "Doc Shebeleza." The MCs solidified their musical partnership when they returned earlier this month with the bold, anti-capitalism anthem "Fuck the Money." Today, they share the music video for the collaborative track, which sees Talib and Cassper sharing rhymes about the perils of commercialism to a backdrop of dollar bills emblazoned with devil horns and vivid images of protest. The 4-minute video also highlights the fervent lyrics of the song as quotes like "capitalism is a cataclysm" and "for dollars and cents we rob our children of their innocence" speedily flash along the screen. Watch the video for "Fuck the Money" below and check out some footage from Okayafrica TV's Day Out in Johannesburg with Talib Kweli and Casper Nyovest.
