There seems to be no end in sight to the constant frustration and humiliation that Caster Semenya has had to endure. After the Swiss Federal Tribunal (SFT) ruled in her favor and suspended the IAAF's decision to force the athlete to take testosterone-lowering drugs in order for her to compete in addition to rejecting the sporting body's urgent application to have the regulations reinstated, Semenya is still not allowed to compete in the upcoming Diamond League meeting in Rabat, Morocco.

The Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation (RMAF) has disappointed many after they rejected Semenya's request to run in Morocco this weekend. They have also not given any reason as to why they rejected her request. The athlete and her lawyers are currently seeking clarity on why exactly the RMAF has violated the SFT's ruling.

The IAAF (never without something to say) has piped in and told Reuters that they are not behind the RMAF's recent decision. Apparently, they have no say in who is allowed to compete in the Diamond League meeting.

They also added that:

"The IAAF continues to comply with the Swiss Federal Tribunal's order dated 31 May to suspend the DSD Regulations in as far as they apply to the appellant...It should be noted that the Diamond League meetings are not organised by the IAAF...Entry for any athlete into a Diamond League meeting is by invitation only from the meeting organizer."

Neither the RMAF nor any of its affiliates have offered any comment with regards to their disappointing decision.
