You probably already got word of the magic that rained down on Brooklyn Monday night when D'Angelo and our jefe ?uestlove stepped on stage at BK Bowl to deliver a stripped-down, yet richly-textured, master course on what can be accomplished with just a drum kit, keyboard and voice. For those who wanted to be there, and the lucky ones that were there and want to relive it, Okayafrica TV captured the Soulquarian brothers' rendition of Voodoo closing track "Africa" — a homage to D'Angelo's son turned philosophical tribute to the continent, heritage and God (which is coincidently ?uesto's favorite track off that classic LP).
