This Video of ‘Dear White People’ Cast Trying South African Languages is Hilarious

Season 2 of the Netflix series Dear White People is upon us. To celebrate the start of the new season, which went live on the 4th of May, a few members of the series appear on a video trying out some popular South African phrases, most of them in IsiZulu.

Logan Browning, Marque Richardson and Antoinette Robertson try to pronounce and guess the meanings of words and phrases such as "haibo!," "bhek' indaba zakho," "umlungu," "gatvol," among others.

They even try to use the words in sentences reacting to everyday scenarios.
