Senegal's Diarra Bousso Makes Clothes For The Hip Consumer

Senegalese fashion designer and artist Diarra Bousso unveiled her Fall/ Winter collections for her two brands MINT and db.

Senegal'sDiarra Bousso wears many hats: multidisciplinary artist, young entrepreneur, fashion designer, blogger, painter and photographer. As a part of Dakar's vibrant creative community, Bousso founded DakarBoutique — a fashion house and art platform that features her two clothing brands MINT and db amongst other artwork and events. On her website, she states a desire to focus on three stylistic elements: tribal prints, colors and detail. Bousso recently unveiled two collections for both of her brands. For MINT, which targets a bold & hip consumer, she introduced the Tribal Equestrian collection for men and women — a perfect fit for the fashionista who loves prints and patterns. For db, Bousso presented Charme Glacé, which translates to 'Icy Charm' in French. It features a great selection of crop tops and long-flowing, high-waisted skirts among other delicate garments. Judging from these two lookbooks, the upcoming seasons from MINT and db will definitely be hot.
